Want to impress that little hottie on a first date? Order up a gourmet cheese and charcuterie plate and skip the wine. Pour a chilled cordial of Sipsmith Sloe Gin instead … or step it up to a Sloe Gin Negroni cocktail and you might find that, as the evening progresses, the pleasant conversation turns decidedly more pleasant indeed.

TASTING NOTES

Appearance / Color
Ruby red

Smell / Nose / Aroma
All of the botanicals you expect in Gin plus a hint of cherry and anise.

Flavor / Taste / Palate
Smooth and fruit-forward

Finish
Dry, with a subtle sweetness … pallet-cleaning and refreshing.

Truly handmade, complex & bursting with flavour.

The process for our Sloe Gin production begins in the fall when our sloe berries (a hedgerow fruit in the plum family) are picked and left to rest with our London Dry Gin. Year-on-year, the harvests vary due to the ever changing, unpredictable British weather. Much like a good wine, every vintage that we produce has its own wonderfully unique character, with Sipsmith quality guaranteed.

Think of sloe gin as Britain's national liqueur, as limoncello is to Italy. It's sensationally sippable in a whole host of gin cocktails, and can be added to a number of our London Dry Gin cocktails to add a dose of berry sweetness. Our favourite Sloe Gin cocktails are a Sloe Drizzle, a Sloe-groni and in a Hot Mulled Sloe, on a chilly day.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0773/5148/5751/products/sipsmith_sloe_gin_750__34250.1658867215.1280.1280.png?v=1702453381
