Blanton's is a brand of single barrel bourbon whiskey produced by the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. Introduced in 1984, it was the first commercially available single barrel bourbon, a concept that revolutionized the premium bourbon market.
      • Original Single Barrel
: This is the classic, benchmark offering. It is bottled at 93 proof (46.5% ABV) and features notes of citrus, caramel, vanilla, and spices. It was historically reserved for dignitaries and Blanton's personal guests.
      • Gold Edition
: Bottled at 103 proof (51.5% ABV), this higher-proof version is known for its complexity. It has a spicy nose with notes of rye and tobacco, followed by caramel, honey, and dark fruit.
      • Straight From the Barrel
: This non-chill-filtered, cask-strength bourbon offers a powerfully intense and complex flavor profile. With notes of dark chocolate, caramel, vanilla, and roasted nuts, it is intended for bourbon connoisseurs.
      • Special Reserve
: At 80 proof (40% ABV), this is a milder, more approachable single barrel bourbon. It features notes of vanilla, toffee, and dried fruit, and is primarily available in international markets.
      The collectible horse stoppers
One of Blanton's most distinctive and recognizable features is the bottle stopper, which features a horse and jockey figurine. There are eight different stoppers, each depicting a different stage of a horse race and marked with a specific letter. When arranged in the proper sequence, the letters spell out "B-L-A-N-T-O-N-S"
