Koch El Mezcal Ensamble – Agave Angustifolia & Karwinskii From the heart of Oaxaca, Koch El Mezcal Ensamble brings together two iconic agaves—Angustifolia (Espadín) and Karwinskii (Madrecuixe)—in a masterfully balanced expression. Handcrafted by mezcaleros using traditional methods, this artisanal mezcal captures the complexity of Oaxaca’s terroir while honoring centuries of mezcal-making heritage. The Espadín contributes a smooth, approachable sweetness, while the Karwinskii adds earthy minerality, herbal depth, and a refined structure. Roasted in earthen pits, stone-milled, naturally fermented, and distilled in copper, this ensamble embodies the artistry and authenticity of true mezcal. Agave Blend – A harmonious mix of Espadín (Angustifolia) and Madrecuixe (Karwinskii). Traditional Production – Pit-roasted, stone-milled, open-air fermentation, and copper distillation. Flavor Profile – Notes of roasted agave, citrus, and light smoke layered with herbal, earthy, and mineral tones. Craft Heritage – Produced by Koch, a house dedicated to preserving Oaxaca’s mezcal traditions. Elegant yet expressive, Koch El Mezcal Ensamble is ideal for sipping neat, pairing with food, or exploring the depth of artisanal mezcal.
