Escasa Reposado Tequila Ultra-Premium Reposado Tequila | 80 Proof | 40% ABV | 750mL Discover a distinctive expression of modern tequila craftsmanship with Escasa Reposado Tequila, an ultra-premium spirit that combines the natural character of blue Weber agave with an unconventional aging process. Crafted in Los Altos de Jalisco, Mexico, under the direction of fourth-generation master distiller Graciela “Grace” Gonzalez, Escasa emphasizes precision, rarity, and the preservation of agave’s natural flavor. Made with hand-selected 100% Blue Weber agave sourced from a single estate, Escasa uses a meticulous production process that includes extended cooking, heirloom yeast fermentation, and triple distillation. What truly distinguishes its Reposado expression is six months of maturation in Albariño white wine barrels from Spain’s Rías Baixas region. This unusual approach introduces delicate wine-inspired nuances while allowing the tequila’s fresh agave character to remain at the forefront. The resulting tequila offers a refined balance of herbal agave, white pepper, bright citrus, and subtle jalapeño, complemented by soft vanilla and milk chocolate. Its elegant, lightly aged profile delivers a fresh alternative to traditional reposado tequilas, making it an excellent choice for discerning enthusiasts who appreciate innovative barrel maturation and complex, agave-forward spirits.
