High West Cask Collection Finished in Barbados Rum Barrels
Uncover a distinctive and vibrant expression with High West Cask Collection Finished in Barbados Rum Barrels, an exceptional whiskey that fuses the boldness of High West’s signature craft with the rich, tropical influence of Caribbean rum. This unique release features carefully selected bourbon and rye whiskies, which are then finished in premium Barbados rum barrels, known for their ability to impart deep, complex flavors to spirits.
The nose offers a delightful symphony of aromas, blending notes of molasses, caramelized sugar, and a touch of ripe tropical fruit, with hints of oak and spice from the whiskey base. On the palate, the smooth, velvety texture delivers flavors of dark rum, brown sugar, vanilla, and rich toffee, balanced by the spicy rye and bourbon undertones that High West is known for. A subtle smokiness from the barrels adds an intriguing layer of depth, while the finish is long and warming, leaving behind a sweet, slightly spiced aftertaste.
This limited edition release is perfect for those who appreciate the interplay of flavors between whiskey and rum, offering a truly unique tasting experience. Ideal for collectors and connoisseurs, High West Cask Collection Finished in Barbados Rum Barrels showcases the distillery’s commitment to innovation and the artistry of barrel finishing.
