Blackened Rye The Lightning
The Thunder of Rye. The Power of Metal.
Introducing Blackened Rye The Lightning — a fearless new expression that strikes with intensity and leaves a lasting impression. A high-rye straight whiskey finished in Madeira and Caribbean rum casks, this is not your typical rye. It’s a bold experiment in dual cask finishing, cranked to 11 with the thunderous energy of Metallica’s iconic Ride the Lightning album pulsing through each barrel via the proprietary BLACK NOISE™ sonic-enhancement process.
This is rye whiskey, reimagined — bold, layered, and electrified by sound.
Tasting Notes:
-
Nose: Bursting with spiced fruit, orange peel, toasted almonds, and a touch of molasses
-
Palate: Rich and complex with notes of dark cherry, candied ginger, clove, and honey-drizzled grain
-
Finish: Long and vibrant with lingering spice, oak char, and a whisper of tropical sweetness from the rum cask finish
Electrifying. Unpredictable. Unmistakably BLACKENED.
Rye The Lightning is more than a whiskey — it’s a sonic storm in a bottle. For those who live loud, drink bold, and ride the lightning.
