Rare Character Whiskey Hurst Knoll Kentucky Straight Rye (750ml)

Rare Character Whiskey Hurst Knoll Kentucky Straight Rye is a bold, thoughtfully crafted expression that showcases the depth and character of premium Kentucky rye whiskey. Distilled in the heart of Kentucky and carefully selected by Rare Character Whiskey Company, this release reflects a commitment to individuality and quality over mass production. The Hurst Knoll expression leans into the classic rye profile while offering a refined, modern balance that appeals to both seasoned enthusiasts and curious newcomers. On the nose, expect an inviting wave of warm baking spices—clove, cinnamon, and cracked pepper—layered with hints of caramel, toasted oak, and a subtle herbal brightness. The palate delivers a rich, full-bodied experience, where spicy rye grain takes center stage, complemented by notes of dark honey, vanilla, dried citrus peel, and a touch of leather. The oak influence is present but well-integrated, adding structure without overpowering the spirit’s natural vibrancy. The finish is long and satisfying, with lingering spice, gentle sweetness, and a dry, slightly smoky fade that invites another sip. Hurst Knoll stands out as a distinctive single-barrel or small-batch selection (depending on release), embodying Rare Character’s philosophy: every barrel tells its own story. Whether enjoyed neat, with a splash of water, or in a refined cocktail, this Kentucky Straight Rye offers a memorable and character-driven experience.
