Wildwood Rendition 5 Year Rye Whiskey (750ml)

Wildwood Rendition 5-Year Rye Whiskey A refined expression in small-batch rye craftsmanship, Wildwood Rendition 5-Year Rye Whiskey delivers a nuanced blend of age, spice, and barrel character that elevates Midwest-sourced rye into something truly distinctive. Created by Wildwood Spirits Co. in Seattle, this five-year straight rye begins with a mash bill of 95% rye / 5% malted barley, harvested in Indiana and aged nearly five years before a finishing treatment in ex-bourbon barrels previously used for The Dark Door bourbon. Crafted Finish – After the primary aging, the rye is transferred into barrels that once matured Wildwood’s award-winning bourbon, adding depth, richness, and a smoother, more layered profile. Degree of Age – Aged for five years, providing maturity and complexity beyond many rye offerings in its class. Flavor Profile – Nose: Citrus peel, baking spice, cinnamon, and hints of vanilla. Palate: White pepper, mocha, vanilla, and mellowed rye intensity thanks to the bourbon-barrel finish. Finish: Long and rich, with warm oak influence and a balance of rye spice and refined sweetness. Versatile Enjoyment – Ideal for sipping neat or over a large ice cube to highlight its layered profile; also strong enough to support elevated rye-forward cocktails like a Manhattan or Sazerac. Heritage & Innovation – With its farm-to-distillery sourcing model and chef-sommelier founded roots, Wildwood Spirits demonstrates a fine-spirited commitment to innovation and quality. Wildwood Rendition 5-Year Rye Whiskey — where bold rye character meets thoughtful finishing for a whiskey that’s refined, complex, and distinctly memorable.
