A brilliant follow up to the excellent original Reyes family recipe, Verde takes the same hand-picked poblanos and utilizes their freshness to create this standout liqueur. Spicy pepper notes are rounded out with flavors of heirloom tomatoes, pineapple, mirabelles, fresh ginger and green tea. A top shelf liqueur. The team at Ancho has really knocked it out of the park with this one.
Looking for something to spice up your cocktail game? Ancho Reyes Verde is a spicy, smoky liqueur that clocks in at 80 proof and makes a killer Margarita. It's not a peaty smoke, nor is it smoky like Mezcal, the flavor here is full on roasted poblano chile, charred over an open flame. The flavor builds, as does the spice factor, leaving your mouth pleasantly on fire.
