Ardbeg Vintage Y2K 23-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch – The Ultimate
A bold and rare expression from Islay’s most adventurous distillery, Ardbeg Vintage Y2K 23-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch – The Ultimate is a celebration of time, tradition, and the unmistakable Ardbeg character. Distilled at the turn of the millennium in the year 2000 and aged for 23 years in meticulously selected oak casks, this extraordinary whisky embodies the signature intensity of Ardbeg while showcasing remarkable depth and refinement.
On the nose, waves of peat smoke and sea spray intertwine with notes of charred oak, dark chocolate, and citrus zest, complemented by hints of toffee, black pepper, and smoldering campfire embers. The palate is rich, complex, and full-bodied, delivering flavors of sweet vanilla, spiced oak, and roasted espresso beans, balanced by layers of smoky bacon, anise, and a touch of salted caramel. The finish is long, warming, and profoundly smoky, leaving a lasting impression of burnt sugar, maritime salinity, and lingering peat smoke.
Bottled in limited quantities, Ardbeg Vintage Y2K 23-Year-Old is a rare collector’s item and a must-have for those who revel in the bold, untamed essence of Islay whisky. Presented in an exquisitely designed bottle, this release is a true tribute to Ardbeg’s legacy and the passage of time.
A once-in-a-lifetime whisky—crafted for the bold, the daring, and the ultimate Ardbeg enthusiast.
