This exceptional 14-year-old single malt is crafted using a unique combination of classic Ardbeg peat smoke and an innovative cask finish, delivering a whisky of remarkable depth, balance, and intrigue.
On the nose, waves of sea salt, smoldering embers, and earthy peat are beautifully intertwined with candied citrus, honeyed malt, and hints of white pepper. The palate is bold and complex, revealing layers of charred oak, dark chocolate, roasted nuts, and spiced vanilla, all complemented by a whisper of dried fruit and maritime salinity. The finish is long and lingering, with warming smoke, oak tannins, and a touch of briny sweetness, embodying the legendary spirit of Ardbeg.
