Ardbeg Uigeadail (pronounced "Oog-a-dal") is a rich and complex single malt Scotch whisky that embodies the bold, peaty character of Ardbeg’s renowned Islay spirit with an intriguing depth of flavor. Named after the loch from which Ardbeg draws its pure water, Uigeadail combines traditional, smoky Ardbeg spirit aged in ex-bourbon barrels with whisky matured in ex-sherry casks. This unique aging process gives Uigeadail a remarkable balance of intense smoke, dried fruits, and warming spices.
On the nose, Ardbeg Uigeadail reveals a seductive blend of leather, cured meats, and dark chocolate, rounded out by notes of raisin, fig, and sherry sweetness. The palate is rich and full-bodied, delivering robust layers of smoke, black coffee, and treacle, with a long, satisfying finish of spices and warm peat.
A perfect choice for seasoned whisky enthusiasts, Ardbeg Uigeadail is best enjoyed neat or with a splash of water to unlock its full complexity. This award-winning whisky is a timeless expression of Ardbeg’s mastery in crafting peated single malts and a must-have addition for collectors and lovers of bold, intense flavors.
