Blue Spot 7 Year Old Cask Strength Irish Whiskey
A revival of a legendary Irish whiskey, Blue Spot 7 Year Old Cask Strength is a bold and unfiltered expression that continues the legacy of the historic Mitchell & Son Spot Whiskey family. Aged for a minimum of seven years in a carefully selected combination of bourbon, sherry, and Madeira casks, this single pot still Irish whiskey is bottled at natural cask strength, delivering an intense yet beautifully balanced profile.
On the nose, Blue Spot opens with a vibrant and complex bouquet of ripe orchard fruits, vanilla, toasted oak, and baking spices, followed by hints of dark berries and rich caramel. The palate is full-bodied and powerful, bursting with juicy tropical fruits, warm spice, and honeyed malt, seamlessly complemented by toffee, dark chocolate, and a touch of nutmeg. The finish is long and lingering, with waves of oak, dried fruit, and a gentle peppery warmth, showcasing the whiskey’s depth and natural intensity.
