Bozal Mezcal Guias de Calabaza is an extraordinary expression that showcases the artistry and depth of traditional mezcal-making. Crafted from the rare Guias de Calabaza agave, this mezcal captures the unique flavors and character of one of Oaxaca’s lesser-known but highly prized varieties. The name "Guias de Calabaza" refers to the agave’s distinctive growth, which resembles pumpkin vines, and imparts a bold, earthy, and complex profile.
On the nose, Bozal Mezcal Guias de Calabaza reveals an inviting bouquet of roasted agave, smokiness, and hints of fresh herbs, accompanied by subtle floral notes. The palate is a rich blend of earthy flavors, with a perfect balance of sweet agave, warm spices, and a touch of herbal bitterness. The finish is long and smoky, with lingering notes of earthiness and a slight vegetal tang that leaves a lasting impression.
Bozal Mezcal Guias de Calabaza is a mezcal for true connoisseurs seeking a distinctive, full-bodied spirit that reflects the natural terroir of the region. Ideal for sipping neat, it can also elevate premium cocktails with its unique depth of flavor. This limited edition expression is a true celebration of Oaxacan tradition and craftsmanship, perfect for those who wish to explore the diverse world of mezcal.
