Cardrona Single Malt Whisky Growing Wings 5 Year
Cardrona Single Malt Whisky Growing Wings 5 Year is a beautifully refined expression that captures the spirit of New Zealand's finest whisky craftsmanship. Distilled from 100% New Zealand-grown malted barley, this exceptional whisky has spent five years maturing in a unique blend of American oak, European oak, and sherry casks, resulting in a harmonious balance of rich flavor and complexity.
The nose is inviting and aromatic, with notes of honeyed vanilla, toasted oak, and a hint of dried fruit that mingle with subtle hints of spiced orange peel and baked goods. On the palate, it offers a smooth, velvety mouthfeel with layers of caramel, malted barley, and light floral undertones, followed by the warmth of baking spice and a gentle touch of oak. The finish is long and satisfying, with lingering notes of honey, oak, and a trace of nutmeg.
