Christian Drouin Cognac Experimental Hine Angels – Small Batch 17 Year
The Christian Drouin Cognac Experimental Hine Angels – Small Batch 17 Year is a masterful fusion of tradition and innovation, showcasing the artistry of two legendary French spirit producers. This exceptional small-batch release is the result of an experimental maturation process, where fine Calvados from Christian Drouin is aged for 17 years before being finished in rare Hine Cognac casks, imparting remarkable depth and complexity.
On the nose, an elegant harmony of baked apples, dried apricots, and candied citrus unfolds, enhanced by delicate floral notes, vanilla, and soft oak. The palate is rich and velvety, revealing layers of honeyed orchard fruits, toasted almonds, and subtle spice, beautifully intertwined with the refined influence of Cognac cask aging. The finish is long and sophisticated, with lingering notes of caramelized pear, warming oak, and a gentle nuttiness.
Bottled in limited quantities, Christian Drouin Cognac Experimental Hine Angels – Small Batch 17 Year is a rare and collectible spirit, perfect for those who appreciate the intersection of Calvados and Cognac craftsmanship.
