Cihuatán Alux 15 Year Aged Rum – A Tribute to Ancient Mayan Tradition
Experience the mystical allure of Cihuatán Alux 15 Year Aged Rum, a rare and exquisitely crafted spirit inspired by the legendary Alux, the guardian spirits of the Mayan lands. Distilled in the heart of El Salvador and aged for 15 years in carefully selected oak barrels, this ultra-premium rum is a testament to time-honored craftsmanship and the rich cultural heritage of the region.
On the nose, enticing aromas of roasted nuts, dried figs, and dark chocolate intertwine with hints of warm vanilla, oak spice, and caramelized sugar. The palate is rich and velvety, offering layers of toffee, honeyed dates, and cinnamon, balanced by delicate notes of toasted coconut and espresso. The aging process imparts an exceptional depth of flavor, leading to a long, elegant finish with lingering hints of spiced oak, molasses, and a touch of sweet smoke.
Bottled at an optimal strength to showcase its complexity, Cihuatán Alux 15 Year Aged Rum is best savored neat or on the rocks, allowing its intricate flavors to unfold. Whether enjoyed as a refined sipping experience or as part of a collector’s showcase, this exceptional rum embodies the magic, mystery, and craftsmanship of Cihuatán.
