Craigellachie 17 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bold, complex, and unapologetically full of character, Craigellachie 17 Year Old is a beautifully aged single malt that showcases the distillery’s signature robust and distinctive style. Matured for 17 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, this exceptional whisky delivers a rich and layered experience, balancing tropical fruit sweetness with deep, warming spice and a hint of Craigellachie’s iconic meaty character.
On the nose, vibrant notes of ripe pineapple, baked apples, and honeyed malt emerge, intertwined with toasted vanilla, nutmeg, and a subtle wisp of sulfuric smokiness. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, offering flavors of creamy toffee, citrus zest, and dark chocolate, all underscored by oak-driven spice and a faint touch of earthiness. The finish is long and lingering, with waves of dried fruit, gentle smoke, and warming spice leaving a lasting impression.
Presented in a striking bottle that reflects its bold heritage, Craigellachie 17 Year Old is best enjoyed neat to fully appreciate its remarkable depth and complexity. A must-have for whisky enthusiasts seeking a rich, unapologetic Speyside dram.
