Deanston Single Malt Scotch Finished in Virgin Oak
Deanston Single Malt Scotch Finished in Virgin Oak is a distinctive and refined expression that showcases the craftsmanship and innovation of this esteemed Highland distillery. This limited-edition release begins with Deanston's signature unpeated, rich, and honeyed base, which is aged in traditional oak casks before being finished in virgin oak barrels. The result is a vibrant, fuller-bodied whisky that retains the distillery’s signature smoothness while introducing bold new layers of flavor.
The virgin oak maturation imparts a unique profile of warm spices, creamy vanilla, and subtle hints of toasted oak. Lush notes of honeycomb, orchard fruits, and caramelized sugar are complemented by a light, peppery finish, creating a harmonious balance of sweetness and spice. The whisky's rich, amber hue and full-bodied character make it ideal for sipping neat, with a splash of water, or as the perfect base for an elevated whisky cocktail.
Crafted with attention to detail and a commitment to quality, Deanston Single Malt Scotch Finished in Virgin Oak offers a distinctive experience for whisky connoisseurs and those seeking a bold, yet approachable, dram. This expression reflects Deanston’s innovative spirit, ensuring it stands out in the world of single malt Scotch.
