Doc Swinson's Exploratory Cask Tawny Port Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Doc Swinson's Exploratory Cask Tawny Port Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a luxurious and innovative release that blends the time-honored craft of bourbon-making with the unique depth of Tawny Port cask finishing. This exceptional bourbon is carefully aged and then finished in Tawny Port barrels, allowing it to absorb the rich, fruity complexities of the port while enhancing the whiskey’s natural character.
On the nose, it offers inviting aromas of dried fruit, figs, and honey, mingling beautifully with warm notes of caramel, vanilla, and oak. The palate is rich and layered, with flavors of ripe red berries, toffee, and a touch of spice, balanced by the smooth, velvety sweetness imparted by the Tawny Port cask. The finish is long and satisfying, leaving behind a harmonious blend of oak, fruit, and a light, wine-influenced sweetness that lingers.
Doc Swinson's Exploratory Cask Tawny Port Straight Bourbon Whiskey is ideal for sipping neat or on the rocks, allowing the full depth of its unique finish to shine through. A must-try for whiskey enthusiasts who appreciate innovation, this bourbon offers a sophisticated twist on the classic bourbon profile with the luxurious influence of Tawny Port.
