About Dos Maderas 5+3
Dos Maderas 5+3 is an exquisite amber rum with refined aromas of rich pecan, vanilla, and a hint of smoky oak. On the palate, ripe fruit harmonizes with vibrant tropical spices, while layers of subtle smokiness, delicate sherry notes, and a touch of tobacco create a complex and lingering finish.
Crafted from a blend of rums distilled in Guyana and Barbados, Dos Maderas 5+3 begins its aging journey in New American Oak barrels in the Caribbean. After five years, it embarks on a transatlantic voyage to Jerez, Spain, where it is masterfully blended. The combination of Barbados’ light, sweet character and Guyana’s bold, full-bodied profile forms the perfect foundation for this exceptional double-aged rum.
