Dos Maderas PX 5+5 Rum
Dos Maderas PX 5+5 Rum is a masterfully crafted, triple-aged rum that exemplifies sophistication and depth. Produced by Bodegas Williams & Humbert, this exceptional spirit begins its journey in the Caribbean, where it is aged for five years in American oak casks under the tropical sun. It is then transported to Spain for an additional five years of maturation in Sherry casks that previously held Dos Cortados Palo Cortado and Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherries.
This unique double-finishing process imparts rich complexity, creating a beautifully smooth and well-balanced rum. On the nose, it offers inviting aromas of dried fruit, vanilla, and subtle oak. The palate is luxuriously layered with notes of caramel, fig, and dark chocolate, complemented by hints of spice and a velvety texture. The finish is long, warm, and satisfyingly sweet, making it ideal for sipping neat or enjoying in refined cocktails.
Whether you're a rum connoisseur or seeking an elegant and distinctive spirit, Dos Maderas PX 5+5 is a remarkable choice, delivering a harmonious blend of Caribbean tradition and Spanish craftsmanship.
