El Mayor Reposado Tequila
A Perfect Balance of Agave and Oak.
El Mayor Reposado Tequila is a refined and smooth spirit that beautifully blends the fresh, bright flavors of blue agave with the complexity and depth imparted by oak barrel aging. Rested for a minimum of 6 months in a combination of American and French oak barrels, this reposado tequila strikes the ideal balance between agave-forward freshness and the rich, mellow character that comes from time spent in wood.
Crafted from the finest blue agave sourced from the highlands of Jalisco, El Mayor Reposado undergoes a careful distillation process that preserves the purity of the agave while enhancing its natural sweetness. The result is a tequila with a rich golden hue and a smooth, well-rounded profile that features hints of vanilla, caramel, and light spice, all complemented by the underlying agave flavor.
Whether sipped neat, served on the rocks, or mixed into your favorite cocktail, El Mayor Reposado offers a versatile, elegant drinking experience that will satisfy both tequila aficionados and newcomers alike.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Inviting aromas of vanilla, toasted oak, and a light touch of agave sweetness.
- Palate: A smooth, balanced profile with flavors of caramel, honey, light baking spices, and a hint of citrus, all harmoniously intertwined with the natural earthiness of agave.
- Finish: A long, warm finish with a gentle spice and lingering notes of oak and sweet agave.
With its smooth texture and well-integrated flavors, El Mayor Reposado Tequila is a versatile choice for any occasion, whether enjoyed as a sipping tequila or in cocktails like a classic tequila old fashioned or a reposado margarita. It’s a spirit that celebrates the artistry of tequila-making, offering complexity and smoothness in every sip.
