El Tequileño The Sassenach Select Double Wood Reposado Tequila – A Fusion of Tradition and Innovation
A remarkable collaboration between El Tequileño and The Sassenach, this Double Wood Reposado Tequila is a masterful expression of craftsmanship, blending heritage, tradition, and modern refinement. Crafted from the finest 100% Blue Weber agave, this exceptional tequila undergoes a dual maturation process, first resting in American oak barrels before being finished in French oak. The result is a reposado with unparalleled depth, smoothness, and complexity.
On the nose, it offers an inviting bouquet of rich caramel, vanilla, and honey, layered with subtle hints of oak, dried fruit, and warm spices. The palate is silky and refined, with flavors of sweet agave, butterscotch, roasted almonds, and baking spices, complemented by delicate notes of dark chocolate and toasted oak. The finish is long, elegant, and smooth, leaving a lasting impression of oak-kissed sweetness and gentle spice warmth.
