Lecompte Calvados 5 Year Old
The Lecompte Calvados 5 Year Old is a refined and vibrant expression from one of Normandy’s most esteemed Calvados houses. Crafted with meticulous care, this exceptional apple brandy is aged for a minimum of five years in French oak casks, allowing it to develop a perfect balance of freshness, fruitiness, and subtle oak influence.
On the nose, lively aromas of crisp green apples, baked pears, and delicate floral notes unfold, complemented by hints of honey and soft spices. The palate is smooth and well-rounded, revealing layers of caramelized apple, vanilla, and toasted almonds, enhanced by a gentle touch of cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is long and elegant, leaving a lingering impression of ripe fruit and warm oak.
Versatile and full of character, Lecompte Calvados 5 Year Old can be enjoyed neat, over ice, or as a sophisticated ingredient in classic and contemporary cocktails. Its refined yet approachable profile makes it an excellent choice for both Calvados connoisseurs and those new to this distinguished French spirit.
