Lobos 1707 Mezcal Artesanal – A Refined Expression of Tradition
Experience the rich heritage and bold craftsmanship of Lobos 1707 Mezcal Artesanal, a spirit that honors centuries-old mezcal traditions while embracing modern refinement. Handcrafted in small batches from 100% Espadín agave, this artisanal mezcal undergoes a meticulous production process, including underground pit-roasting, natural fermentation, and double distillation to achieve its signature depth and complexity.
Lobos 1707 Mezcal is further finished in Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry barrels, a unique touch that enhances its smoothness and character, setting it apart from traditional mezcals. The result is a perfectly balanced expression, with smoky intensity complemented by notes of earthy agave, dried fruit, sweet oak, and subtle spice, culminating in a long, velvety finish.
Tasting Notes:
- Refined Smoke – Traditional pit-roasting imparts an elegant smokiness
- Earthy & Complex – Roasted agave, dried fruit, and hints of spice
- PX Sherry Barrel Influence – Smooth, slightly sweet, and rich in character
Perfect for sipping neat or as a bold foundation for craft cocktails, Lobos 1707 Mezcal Artesanal is a testament to the artistry and innovation that define the brand. Rooted in tradition. Elevated by excellence.
