Long Pond Gold Rum ITP-15 Year Old Single Mark Rum
An extraordinary expression of Jamaican rum heritage, Long Pond Gold Rum ITP-15 Year Old Single Mark Rum is a masterfully aged spirit that showcases the depth, complexity, and craftsmanship of the renowned Long Pond Distillery. Distilled using the ITP (Intense Tropical Profile) marque, this rum has been aged for 15 years in oak barrels, developing a remarkably rich and layered character that embodies the essence of traditional Jamaican pot still rums.
On the nose, bold aromas of ripe tropical fruit, caramelized banana, and rich molasses intertwine with notes of toasted oak, baking spices, and a subtle hint of funk—characteristic of high-ester Jamaican rums. The palate is luxuriously full-bodied, revealing layers of dark toffee, dried fruit, and warming spice, beautifully balanced by hints of vanilla, roasted nuts, and a touch of smoky oak. The finish is long and complex, with lingering notes of spice, oak, and a refined sweetness that leaves a lasting impression.
