Midleton Very Rare Dair Ghaelach Kilranelagh Wood – 113.6 Proof
An extraordinary expression of Irish whiskey craftsmanship, Midleton Very Rare Dair Ghaelach Kilranelagh Wood is a celebration of provenance, tradition, and innovation. As part of the revered Dair Ghaelach series, this exceptional single pot still Irish whiskey is matured in virgin Irish oak casks sourced exclusively from the historic Kilranelagh Estate in County Wicklow. Bottled at a natural cask strength of 113.6 proof, it showcases the remarkable influence of native Irish oak on Midleton’s signature luxurious spirit.
On the nose, rich aromas of toasted oak, honeyed vanilla, and orchard fruits unfold, interwoven with delicate hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, and dark chocolate. The palate is deep and complex, offering layers of caramelized apples, spiced toffee, and golden malt, complemented by waves of clove, roasted hazelnuts, and a touch of earthy oak tannins. The finish is long, warming, and elegantly structured, leaving lingering notes of sweet spice, creamy vanilla, and oak richness.
Presented in a distinguished bottle that reflects its exclusivity, Midleton Very Rare Dair Ghaelach Kilranelagh Wood is a limited-edition release, perfect for connoisseurs and collectors who seek the finest expressions of Irish whiskey. A true testament to Midleton’s mastery, this whiskey is an unforgettable journey into Ireland’s rich whiskey heritage.
A rare and exquisite Irish whiskey—crafted for those who appreciate depth, character, and authenticity.
