Midleton Very Rare Dair Ghaelach Kilranelagh Wood – 114.2 Proof
A true masterpiece of Irish whiskey craftsmanship, Midleton Very Rare Dair Ghaelach Kilranelagh Wood is a rare and distinguished single pot still Irish whiskey, aged in virgin Irish oak casks sourced from the historic Kilranelagh Estate in County Wicklow. Bottled at a bold 114.2 proof, this exceptional release showcases the profound influence of native Irish oak on Midleton’s world-renowned whiskey, delivering remarkable depth, complexity, and refinement.
The nose is rich and inviting, offering an exquisite balance of toasted oak, golden honey, and ripe orchard fruits, complemented by delicate notes of warm baking spices, dark chocolate, and sweet vanilla bean. On the palate, a full-bodied and velvety texture reveals layers of caramelized pear, spiced toffee, and roasted hazelnuts, harmonized with hints of clove, nutmeg, and charred oak. The finish is enduringly long and sophisticated, leaving lingering impressions of oak spice, creamy vanilla, and a touch of dark fruit sweetness.
Presented in an elegantly designed bottle that reflects its rarity and prestige, Midleton Very Rare Dair Ghaelach Kilranelagh Wood is a limited-edition whiskey, crafted for the discerning connoisseur. This extraordinary expression is a celebration of Ireland’s whiskey heritage, offering a one-of-a-kind tasting experience that embodies the richness and character of Irish oak maturation.
A rare and exceptional Irish whiskey—crafted for those who appreciate the finest in single pot still distillation.
