Sam Houston Small Batch Reserve Bourbon Whiskey Sam Houston Small Batch Reserve Bourbon Whiskey is a distinguished, limited-release bourbon that pays tribute to one of America’s founding legends while showcasing the art of expert blending and extended aging. Each release is carefully curated from select barrels aged to peak maturity, often sourced from multiple states, creating a unique and highly nuanced expression that varies slightly by batch while maintaining a consistent standard of excellence. This small batch reserve is known for its bold character and refined balance, offering a rich and mature profile that reflects years of careful aging. On the nose, it opens with inviting aromas of caramel, vanilla, seasoned oak, and hints of dried fruit. The palate is robust and layered, delivering flavors of toffee, dark sugar, baking spices, leather, and toasted oak, complemented by subtle notes of cocoa and roasted nuts. The finish is long, warm, and complex, with lingering spice and oak sweetness. Bottled at a higher proof in many releases, Sam Houston Small Batch Reserve provides a full-bodied mouthfeel and depth that appeals to seasoned bourbon enthusiasts while remaining approachable with a splash of water or over ice.
