The Glendronach Ode To The Embers (700ml)

The GlenDronach Ode To The Embers A homage to warmth, smoke, and the glow of tradition, The GlenDronach Ode To The Embers is a limited-edition release that marries the distillery’s renowned sherry cask richness with a subtle thread of Highland peat. Crafted under the guidance of Master Blender Dr. Rachel Barrie, this expression captures the meeting point of fire and fruit, creating a whisky both smouldering and refined. Expect layers of spiced toffee, caramelised walnut, and dark berries, intertwined with smoked chocolate, embered oak, and flamed citrus peel. Bottled at natural cask strength, with no chill filtration and natural colour, it offers a bold yet balanced experience true to The GlenDronach’s character. Cask Selection – Matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, enriched with peated Highland spirit. Flavor Profile – Notes of raisin, smoked chocolate fudge, caramelised nuts, bramble fruit, and warming oak spice. Cask Strength – Bottled without dilution or chill filtration for full intensity and authenticity. Limited Release – A rare expression uniting sherried richness with smoky depth. Glowing with character, Ode To The Embers is a celebration of fire and flavour—an evocative dram for those who seek both tradition and intrigue in their whisky.
