Torabhaig Single Malt Scotch Allt Gleann The Legacy Series Batch Strength
Torabhaig Single Malt Scotch Allt Gleann The Legacy Series Batch Strength is a bold and exceptional expression that marks a significant milestone in the history of this rising distillery on the Isle of Skye. As part of Torabhaig's Legacy Series, this cask-strength single malt is an unfiltered, untamed whisky that highlights the natural character and intense flavor profile of the island’s renowned terroir.
With Allt Gleann, Torabhaig takes a distinct approach to their whisky-making process, blending traditional craftsmanship with a unique, unyielding character. The nose is rich and inviting, with aromas of briny sea air, smoky peat, and a subtle sweetness from malted barley. On the palate, the whisky delivers a powerful punch of robust peat smoke, dried fruit, and vanilla, while the high cask strength ensures an intense, full-bodied experience. A careful balance of spice, oak, and earthiness emerges as the whisky develops, making each sip a complex journey of flavor.
The finish is long and warm, with lingering notes of smoke, caramel, and a touch of salt, leaving a lasting impression of the rugged coastal environment from which it originates. Ideal for whisky enthusiasts who appreciate the potency and depth of cask-strength malts, Allt Gleann offers a rare opportunity to experience Torabhaig's signature style in its most raw and unadulterated form.
