Virginia Distillery Cider Cask Finished Virginia-Highland Whisky
Virginia Distillery Cider Cask Finished Virginia-Highland Whisky is a delightful and unique expression that brings together the best of Virginia’s craftsmanship and innovation. This exceptional whisky is aged in traditional oak casks and then finished in carefully selected cider casks, imparting a distinct fruit-forward character that sets it apart from other whiskies.
On the nose, it offers an enticing aroma of crisp apples, light floral notes, and a subtle sweetness, with hints of vanilla and oak. The palate is smooth and approachable, with flavors of ripe orchard fruits, fresh cider, and a touch of honeyed malt, balanced perfectly by the soft spice of oak and a delicate sweetness. The cider cask finish adds an intriguing layer of complexity, enhancing the whisky’s vibrant, fruity character. The finish is long and smooth, leaving behind a gentle warmth and a hint of apple zest.
Virginia Distillery Cider Cask Finished Virginia-Highland Whisky is a refreshing and versatile whisky that’s perfect for sipping on its own or for pairing with a variety of foods. Its distinctive flavor profile makes it a great choice for those seeking a whisky with a touch of innovation and the rich heritage of Virginia distilling.
