West Cork Glengarriff Peat Charred Cask Irish Whiskey
West Cork Glengarriff Peat Charred Cask Irish Whiskey is a bold and distinctive expression that marries the smoothness of Irish whiskey with the smoky depth of peated casks. A unique addition to the West Cork portfolio, this whiskey is matured in a combination of traditional oak and specially charred peat casks, creating a one-of-a-kind profile that will captivate both seasoned whiskey drinkers and newcomers alike.
On the nose, it opens with inviting aromas of toasted oak, sweet vanilla, and a gentle smoky peat influence, offering a complex yet approachable introduction. The palate reveals a harmonious blend of rich malt, smooth honey, and soft fruits, balanced by the deep, earthy peat smoke that gives this whiskey its character. The charred casks impart a layer of roasted spices and a hint of dark chocolate, creating a full-bodied and satisfying mouthfeel. The finish is long and warming, with lingering notes of peat, oak, and a subtle sweetness that rounds out the experience.
West Cork Glengarriff Peat Charred Cask Irish Whiskey is perfect for those seeking a unique twist on traditional Irish whiskey. Whether enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in a special cocktail, it delivers a memorable tasting experience with every sip.
